Summer School ‘Migrant Inclusion in Policy and Practice’
RUNOMI (Radboud University Network on Migrant Inclusion) organises the summer school ‘Migrant Inclusion in Policy and Practice’. The summer school will take place at Radboud University, Nijmegen, The Netherlands from 8 to 12 July 2019.
This interdisciplinary course will equip participants with expert knowledge and critical thinking skills relating to the ways in which social and economic dimensions shape one of today’s most debated issues: migrant inclusion and integration policies and practices. The course aims to equip participants to take an interdisciplinary perspective when assessing, designing and researching inclusion policies. As such it is suitable for advanced bachelor students, master and PhD students from a variety of disciplines who want to explore an interdisciplinary approach to their topic of study. By considering different policy examples in health care, labour market integration, citizenship testing and anti-discrimination law, the course is also of interest to professionals in the field of (local) policy making who wish to gain new knowledge and an interdisciplinary perspective on inclusion policy.
